Matrox-kaart??

For all of those people that got the fatal exception error @ 0028:c00051ef in vxd vmm(01)+000041ef after shutting down using a matrox g400. I found the answer. Uninstall the powerdesk and drivers. Reboot but do not let the pc pick up the proper card keep the adapter at standard VGA, Go into the registry under local_machine_software and delete the matrox folder (if there is one), then goto local_machine_software_microsoft_windows_currentversion_run. There should be a line that has matrox or mga in it, find it delete it, and reboot. Once again don't let the pc install the matrox card. Run the setup from the 5.25 driver and overwrite the old settings with the defaults. Reboot and all should be roses!
